Jacob was born October 6, 1710. Jacob Bradbury married Elizabeth Stockman, July 26, 1698. She was the daughter of Rev. John Stockman and his wife Sarah, daughter of Major Robert Pike and widow Wymond(2) Bradbury. He died May 4, 1718.

William (4) True, who married Anna (4) Bradbury, was the father of Jonathan (5) True, who by wife Anne Stevens had Eleanor (6) True, who married John Sargent, whose son William True Sargent married Hannah B Mitchell, and had William Mitchell(8) Sargent of Portland, the well-known historical writer. William (4) True who married Anna (4) Bradbury, was a gransson of Henry (2) True who married Jane(2), daughter of Thomas(1) Bradbury. Nathaniel(8) True, A.M., M.D. late of Betel, the veteran teacher, scientist and historical writer, was the son of John(7) and Mary (Hatch) True, granson of Jonathan(5) and Anne (stevens) True, and great-great-grandson of Capt. William (4) True who married Anna Bradbury. Like Mr. Sargent he was doubly connected with the Bradbury Family.
Barnabas (4) Soule was the fourth in descent from George (1) Soule (Sole, Soul, Soal, Sowl), who came to New England in the Mayflower, in the family of Edward Winslow. THe descent is George (1), John (2), Moses (3), Barnabas (4). The latter, born in Duxbury in 1705, came to North Yarmouth about the year 1742. He had previously married Jane, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Bradbury. Barnabas Soule and wife were admitted to the church in North Yarmouth in 1742. He had a family of nine children. From his sons John, Cornelius and Barnabas Jr., sprang the famous ship-builders and ship-masters of Freeport, Enos, Henchman, Clement Soule and others. His daughter Mercy Soule was the maternal ancestor of Philp H. and General John Marshal Brown of Portland, and from this branch of the Soule family was Rev. Charles Soule the maternal grandfather of Dr. Charles E. Banks of the United States Navy, a prominent historical write. Barnabas Soule died April 8, 1780, and his remains were buried in the old North Yarmouth burying-ground.
