Hmmm.... What are you doing here?

You are reading this because on May 12, 2001 I happened to be monitoring my web logs and noticed someone downloading my "Computing Capacity and the Human Brain" paper. Further investigation revealed that it had been downloaded 190 times since January. (I guess this is an interesting lesson about how clever people are about finding things on the net and how information spreads out exponentially since the monthly download count went from 4 to 12 to 35 to 135...)   Unfortunately this paper is not a "completed work" (it isn't even really a rough draft) so I'm rather uncomfortable having people read it unless I know who they are and what their interest is in it.  To the best of my knowledge I haven't linked the paper to any of my other pages or any public pages, so either people were being very clever to figure out where it was or one of the few people I told about the URL didn't keep it in confidence.

There is some discussion of human-brain/computer equivalence in my paper about Matrioshka Brains (see the section on Computer-Human Equivalence) which may be accessed.

Until I've finished the "Computing Capacity ..." paper, it has been relocated.  If you believe you have a good reason for wanting to see a pre rough draft copy, please send me an email at bradbury@aeiveos.com.  If I think your request is worthy, I'll bless you with the new URL.

If you know of a URL that links to this page or know who told you about the URL I wouldn't mind that infomation either.
My investigations do show that somehow (!) it got indexed by Google, so that may explain the increase in accesses.

Regards,
Robert Bradbury
